Driving School Responsibilities
Training vehicles provided by Dude Let's Drive are taxed, insured for purposes of driving tuition, fully road worthy and fitted with dual controls. Your instructor agrees to abide by the conditions of the DSA professional code of conduct and holds a valid ADI License issued by the Driving Standards agency.

Pupil Requirements
The pupil must provide the photographic part and counterpart of the UK provisional license on the first lesson. Pupils need to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres, if glasses/contact lenses are needed to be worn, they must be worn during the lesson. Pupil must be medically fit to drive, not under the influence of alcohol or drug substances.


Payments
Tuition fees are payable in advance, payments can be made by Cash or Bank Transfer.

Registration Requirements needed prior to lesson
Full Name of Pupil, Full Address inc Post Code, Driving Licence number, Contact telephone number and Email Address.

Initial Booking Procedure
Bookings can be made by email, telephone, text or website. All bookings will be confirmed by email/text with details of what is needed in the first lesson.

Pick up/Drop off and training location
All sessions will start and finish at the same location, unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. The instructor will determine a location for practical lessons which ensures both pupil and public safety; this means that the instructor may need to drive the pupil to and from the lesson location. This journey time forms part of the lesson.

Cancellations
Pupils must give the instructor, directly by means of a telephone call, at least 48 hours' notice if a pupil wishes to cancel a driving lesson. Otherwise the pupil will still be liable for the lesson fee in respect to that lesson. If a lesson is cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice then any advance payments received will be held in credit towards future lessons. If the driving instructor cancels a lesson, the advance payment will be held in credit towards future lessons. In unforeseen cases as much notice will be given and compensation will be considered.

Complaints
If there is a dispute, in the first instance the matter should be resolved directly between the pupil and the instructor. If the matter cannot be resolved between the pupil and the instructor then a complaint should be made in writing to: customer.services@dsa.gov.uk All approved driving instructors are regulated and governed by the Driving Standards Agency and any unresolved disputes with an individual instructor can be referred to the DVSA.

Other Provisions
The instructor has the right to withdraw a car from a test without prior notice if in their professional opinion the pupil has not reached a satisfactory test standard. There is no guarantee from the instructor that a pupil will reach test standard or pass the test. Although every possible effort will be made in the pupil's interests in accordance with DVSA driving instructors code of practice.

The instructor has the right to terminate any lesson if, in their opinion, their safety, the pupil's safety, or the safety of the public is any way under threat due to the pupil's nature, attitude, demeanour or driving ability.

Theory Test Pro
Theory Test Pro is offered to all Dude Let's Drive pupils. Registration is given when pupil supplies instructor with a valid email address. The instructor will enrol pupil to Theory Test Pro, pupil will then receive an email with login details. This service is provided for as long as the pupil is with Dude Let's Drive. Service is cancelled when pupil leaves or passes their Practical Test. Service may be withdrawn at any time.


Data Protection
Dude Let's Drive are exempt from notification for the purposes of the Data Protection Act. Dude Let's Drive only holds basic personal information for the purpose of providing services; advertising, marketing activity directly related to Driving Tuition and will not share personal information with any third party business or individual.
